- Join Half Fanatics club at the Saturn level at minimum (4 half marathons in 4 states in 51 days).
- Join Marathon Maniacs club at Bronze level at minimum (3 full marathons in 90 days).
End of Year Goals-
Improve race pace from ~12 minute mile to ~10 minute mile.
Reach a point where a 10 mile run is "routine."
Weight Loss Goal:
Late in 2011 I started back on my psych med, lithium, and no doubt at some point in the year I'll end up on antidepressants for several months. That being said, my goal weight is 125 pounds...hopefully reached by mid-June before my 30 year high school reunion.
Lower body strengthening to prevent further injury to the iliotibial band and knees. Increase strength of ankles to improve proprioception and balance. Build up flexor and gluteal muscle strength to maintain proper pelvic alignment.
Complete my first sprint duathlon: May 5th - Little Boy Duathlon (run/bike/run)
Ride my first Metric Century ride: June (TBD), Tour de Muleshoe, TX
